Transportation and accommodation

First I want to talk about our means of transportation and the place where we’ve slept.
To be different, this time we’ve decided to act like a snail. We’ve decided to bring the home on our backs!After lots of research (to find the cheapest snail shell) we’ve settled with a company called “wicked campers”.
To be nice, I’ll just say that the thing looked like a fruit van that had been left parked overnight in a sketchy part of town on a thursday night.
The inside looked the same. Everyone using it before us has written something inside the van.

In the end it was very cool! Whenever we were sleepy we would just change drivers, or stop somewhere, and take a nap in the back.
In the end, when we almost got out of gas while trying to get back to Alice Springs to take the morning flight, it was really useful.
We just drove as far as we could with the little gas left in the tank and stopped at a gas station 100km away to sleep until dawn when we got gas. But that is another post!
